I wish

let me complain for a minute

I wish I could get up the stairs
I wish we could move to a one story house
I wish I could lift my baby into his high chair
I wish getting dressed wasn't so exhausting
I wish people wouldn't glare at me for using a handicapped spot
I wish applying for disability wasnt such a pain in the neck
I wish I could visit family easier
I wish I could go on girls trips to Ikea and the mall and not be embarassed to use my walker
I wish I could  go on walks with my husband and baby without my baby stealing my walker or cane

Home fitness

Haven't been able to make it to the gym for a while due to a massive lack of spoons, so we did a weight watchers dvd together yesterday. Parker squatting and doing sit ups= CUTEST THING EVER!

Parker and Jon are my reasons for getting healthy! They already sacrifice so much because of my RA.  My RA causes enough problems... I really don't want to end up with any of the number or maladies that come with being overweight.

What Parker Ate

I am thinking of renaming my blog to "what Parker ate".

Today for lunch he ate
2 bowls speghetti os with meatballs
1/2 sweet potato
1/2 cup mixed veggies
1 bowl yogurt
2 stewed apples
1 banana
1/2 sleeve whole wheat ritz crackers

I'm also considering putting a PayPal widget on my sidebar in case anyone wants to contribute to my grocery budget.

Thoughts?

Wowww

Parker just ate 2 bowls of speghetti os, a bowl of cereal, and a chocolate cupcake. FOR SNACK. He ate an even bigger lunch a few hours ago. I am terrified to think of what will happen when he's a teenager.

Sports enthusiast

You shoulda seen the look on his face when I served meatballs for lunch. He yelled BALL and dug right in!

Valentines Day prep

P is participating in his first ever Valentine swap next week as part of his music class. The tiny Martha Stewart that lives in my brain said I should get out my Cricut... but she was outvoted by the sheer exaustion caused by raising a toddler while chronically ill. Besides, I think Parker had more fun this way!
