Sitting pretty

He couldn't decide if he wanted to sit in my lap or in the chair. So he did both.

And were back

My flip phone had a battery life of 1 hour. Jon found a smart phone for $60 bucks on clearance so I'm back online.

Here we are at the Temple. It was nice to walk around with Parker and teach him the importance of the Temple. We are lucky to have one nearby!

Going dark (ish)

I lost my smart phone (again) last week. Luckily an old friend gave me her old flip phone.  I really appreciate it! Jon thinks he might be able to dig up an old droid but the flip phone is helping me with my Facebook addiction.. And helping me be more present with P. Since the blog was mainly powered by my phone, my posts will be less frequent. This is a good thing.

He's been trying to scale that helicopter for a year. He did it!!

Strawberry picking

Alternate title: "the time I spent 30 minutes chasing my son while he chased a tractor all over the farm."

Lil man did NOT pull his weight during this endeavor.

Lil' McQueen

P doesn't sleep with a lovely. He sleeps with Lightning McQueen. When lil McQueen went missing, my life turned to garage and I broke down and bought a big McQueen in the hopes that it'd be harder to loose a big car. (See post of P creepily posing with his new car like it's his wife on their wedding day).

Anyway lil McQueen has been found and the two cars spent a solid 10 minutes making out this morning.

Airport observation deck

PLEASE tell me I am not the only parent terrified of the observation deck at RDU. Excuse my swears but that place scares the sh!t out of me. I know Parker and every other child on the deck is spontaneously going to fall off the deck and/or stairs and die. I just know it.

Mom friend crush wants to meet there but I already blew our first play date by saying OMG I WANT TO TOSS PARKER OUT THE WINDOW while he was acting like a lunatic. She thought I was serious (perhaps bc I said it multiple times) and got very concerned.

No way am I going to mess up this play date by showing up with a bottle of Xanax. I will just have to come up with an alternate location.

Please for the love tell me I'm not alone in this. In the comments. I'm tired of yall reading my blog and never commenting. This is your time to redeem yourselves.
